OUR IMPACT
Impact Finance & Advisory
We pair financial products with data-driven philanthropic strategies to drive inclusive economic growth, with a focus on serving communities of color.
Our Mission
Launched in 2018, JPMorgan Chase’s Impact Finance and Advisory (IFA) team offers capital tools and advisory solutions to advance the Firm’s environmental and social impact objectives. The team invests a dedicated pool of JPMC capital to help fill the gap between philanthropic and traditional capital by lending to, investing in, and advising financial intermediaries, funds, and companies that advance inclusive, sustainable growth and racial equity. We focus on five strategic areas:
Erin Robert, Head of Impact Finance & Advisory
What We Do
Impact Finance & Advisory (IFA) deploys financial products and provides advice to clients in order to advance strategic drivers of inclusive, sustainable growth and racial equity. Sample product suite includes:
- Flexible credit products for mission-driven financial intermediaries (such as Community Development Financial Institutions)
- Equity investments in early-stage, mission driven companies
- Equity investments in Small Business Investment Corporations focused on LMI or diverse/women/veteran entrepreneurs, and funds focused on affordable housing preservation or new construction
- Bespoke advisory for JPMC’s corporate clients on impact- and ESG-related financing
